When the forms are used, they can expand dynamically based on the type of responses entered. In addition, the forms can dynamically show/hide different sections based on the role that a user plays in the organization.
But creating and using “smart forms” for accidents and incidents is just the beginning. Each form can have an associated workflow that automates the process that the form goes through. For example, based on the form type and the responses entered, the form can be sent automatically to the appropriate reviewer or approver who may request additional information or analysis. Finally, statistics can be generated automatically to identify trends from one year to another or on a per-site basis.
